It all started in 1995...
with ideas about what could be produced with the sinter technique we specialized in, that everyone would find useful. Normally, the powder metallurgy is used for more sophisticated products like, for example clutches, chain saws, needle holder for sewing machines or planet gears to adjust your car seat or office chair with.
Bottle openers was the first product we realized we could enhance, when it comes to both solidity and 'wear and tear'. We wanted the logotype to remain on the bottle opener. In 1995, this resulted in the Hubcap; a soft edged bottle opener with an amazing grip where the logotype comes in the same material as the product. We chose a hardening process for the bottle opener, in order to secure a life long advertising guarantee. All these kind of products allows +/-0,01mm of tolerance, and they can be recycled again as metal. Patents and pattern-protections enshrine the original ideas and the originality from pale copies.
The business idea was born
Sinterteknik should design and produce genuine, hard wearing bottle openers and trolley coins for commercial use, or as a souvenir with a wear and tear quality that beats everything else on the market. It also should be environmental friendly and offer a long lasting solution to deliver a message during a whole lifetime.
